Komet software (now on Komet 7.0) allows the capture and analysis of images from ‘The Comet Assay’. The Comet Assay permits the quantification of DNA damage and repair in single cell preparations and is applicable to any eukaryotic cell. The assay can be used in both in-vitro and in-vivo testing and has been shown to be a powerful and sensitive predictor of genetic toxicity.

Andor iDus InGaAs 491 array series provide the most compact and optimized research-grade platform for Spectroscopy applications up to either 1.7 or 2.2 μm. The Thermo-Electrically cooled, in-vacuum sensors reach cooling temperatures of -90ºC where the best signal-to-noise ratio can be achieved for the majority of the applications in this spectral region
